SYNOPSIS OF "THE RON CLARK STORY"

The Ron Clark Story

This story was about an energetic, creative, idealistic and inspiring young teacher. He was  Mr. Ron Clark. Mr. Clark was a teacher who teaches at Inner Harlem New York public elementary school. He leaved his lovely hometown North Carolina to NY. He taught at a class which was famous because of the indiscipline. This was a big challenge to make over the student's characteristic. He has ever given up teaching this class. It was so hard. Changing the character was more difficult than transfer knowledge. He was a persevering teacher. He taught his student patiently.
One of his ways to make discipline the students were making rules. The rules were 'we are family', 'we are respecting each other', 'call me sir not fool', etc. The rules were adhered on wall of the class. Not only making rules he also prepared a topless for throwing gums. Every lunch time the students had to make line to take lunch at canteen. Not only lunch time but also every school time finished the students had to make line before go out of class. He made a Rapp song that contains the names of USA's president. So, the student didn't get difficulty to memorize the names. So smart he is. He covered the lesson with unboring thing.
To realize his ambition, he tried to understand the student's background. He came to one of his student's apartment. He found she was taking care of her sisters and brother, so she didn't have time to study at home. One day he came to the apartment again. He taught her patiently while she took care of her sisters and brothers. There was one student who always looks unhappy every day. Mr. Clark tried to understand him until he knew that the student was a street gang member. His father didn't love him. Mr. Clark huddled up the student to bright life.
All of his efforts to change the bad students into good student were success. Noisy class changed to quite class. Impolite students changed to polite students. Stupid students changed to smart students. Unfriendly students changed to friendly students. The fool class changed to intelligent class (the students got a higher score than the honor class).
Mr. Clark was appointed by his students as the best teacher because he was success to change the students in better life. He taught the students by his fun ways. He was so close with his students. He made the students have a second family at school. Mr. Clark was like a father to his students.
